 Benvenuto, questo posto è davvero per pochi, prima di entrare ti devo chiedere una cosa! Non ti sto gentilmente invitando a toglierti le scarpe, questa non è una rispettabile casa giapponese, non è una severa moschea! Togliti le conoscenze storiche, i fatti, qui sono le uniche cose che sporcano, che creano polvere. Mi sono anche chiesto se avesse senso un’introduzione e di partire spediti perché un lavoro del genere richiede delle spiegazioni, delle domande e delle risposte, quindi un pochino di Storia, con la S maiuscola. No, qui ci sono Archetipi, entità che sono vive e che si sono manifestate nell’epica irlandese o gallese, come nel folklore di tutto il mondo. Li chiamerò Fate, un nome abbastanza generico che non mi costringe a collocarli nella Storia. Conoscete la parola avatar? Beh questi Archetipi si sono manifestati, sono “discesi” nella Storia, nella Letteratura e nel Mito, per poi sparire, diventare polvere. Sono venuti e scomparsi tantissime volte. Mi sono chiesto, perché non farli venire nelle mie storie, nei miei racconti, nei mie sogni? Non voglio farli tornare nella Storia con la S maiuscola o nella cultura pop, come i Druidi di certo neopaganesimo! Non ho niente contro tutto questo, non mi interessa se gli archeologi dicono litigano con tutti questi gruppi che trattano quegli antichi sacerdoti come se fossero degli hippy ecologisti! No, preferisco che tutto rimanga nella mia fantasia, preferisco proteggere gli Archetipi dalla Storia con la S maiuscola, senza domande, senza risposte, senza spiegazioni, non mi interessano come si sono manifestati nel passato, ancora meno mi interessa come si manifestano oggi Druidi, Fate, eroi, Tribù, divinità miti e tanti altro. Qualcuno mi chiederà "ehi amico, tu stai facendo della letteratura, forse l’ennesima raccolta amatoriale di dozzinali storielle fantasy, perché non incominci e basta?" beh non ha tutti i torti, ognuno definisca come vuole quello che leggerà, buona lettura!

No, here are Archetypes, entities that are alive and that have manifested themselves in Irish and Welsh epics, as well as in folklore from around the world. I'll call them Fairies, a fairly generic name that doesn't force me to place them in History. Are you familiar with the word avatar? Well, these Archetypes have manifested themselves, they have "descended" into History, Literature, and Myth, only to disappear, turning to dust. They have come and gone countless times. I asked myself, why not bring them into my stories, my tales, my dreams? I don't want to bring them back to History with a capital H or pop culture, like the Druids of certain neo-paganism! I have nothing against all this, I don't care if archaeologists say they argue with all these groups who treat those ancient priests as if they were eco-friendly hippies! No, I prefer to keep everything in my imagination, I prefer to protect the Archetypes from History with a capital H, without questions, without answers, without explanations. I'm not interested in how they manifested themselves in the past, and I'm even less interested in how Druids, Fairies, heroes, Tribes, deities, myths, and so many others manifest themselves today. Some might ask me, "Hey buddy, you're writing literature, perhaps yet another amateur collection of cheesy fantasy stories, why don't you just start?" Well, they're not entirely wrong, everyone can define what they read as they wish. Happy reading!
